We are officially fully in the throws of Wedding Season (did I mention I’m getting married?!), and PrettyLittleThing.com were kind enough to send me a few dresses from their wedding guest range to check out. I think it’s always difficult to decide what to wear to a wedding – after all, you don’t want to look better than the bride do you? (Side note: as the bride I reserve the right to photoshop you out of the pictures if you look beautiful stood next to me!).
Now that we are living in 2017, a time when a wedding can be something far more unusual than a church and a village hall (for example, some of us get married outside in forests!) so you may end up needing several quite different dresses for your summer of weddings!
Thankfully, PLT have you covered. I chose these two lovely numbers, that I feel could work for a few different types of wedding, from a classical soiree, to a beach party.
This dress makes me feel like a freaking fairy! It’s very elegant and could be dressed up for a church wedding, or rocked a bit more bohemian for an outdoor affair. This would also make a lovely bridesmaid dress too!
I wouldn’t normally choose a long dress, (being 5 foot 3 and kinda dumpy) but I thought I would throw caution to the wind and give it a go. I am in love with this dress! I know you shouldn’t wear white to a wedding, but I think you could get away with this number as it is mostly pink anyway. It was super comfortable to wear (although I need to take the hem up because it’s a little long for my short arse!) but I would love to wear this to a wedding.
If you’re looking for wedding guest inspiration (or even bridesmaid dresses for your own big day!) I would recomment PLT’s wedding range. These came super quick in the cutest pink unicorn decorated package – lush! They’re super comfortable and feel really good quality – and I think they look pretty great on too! What do you think?
Big love to PLT for kindly sending me these dresses to try. As always, being gifted a product doesn’t change my opinons on it – I’ll always be honest about the products I review!
