You all know how much I love Homesense, so when they offered me a giftcard to check out their new ranges in store, I was over the moon!
Because the summer is creeping up on us, there are so many garden items that are new in and I was set the challenge to look for things that could work for doing up our garden (eventually! Come on good weather and motivation!) as well as potentially the wedding too. With the wedding being outside it ties in perfectly, so here is what I got…!
These little pots are the cutest things! I love the gold details and I adore dragonflies so these are perfect. Obviously the “plants” in them at the moment are just some cute candles, but I’m going to get some little succulents to plant in them – partially because they are hard to kill…!
I am crazy about this bloody bucket! Just look at it! So my plan for this cutie is to plant some herbs in it, a la the design. Steven and I have been talking about having a little herb garden for a while, and what better resceptical that this adorable bucket!
When you get married in a literally woodland, cutesy wooden things are the aesthetic and for £3(!) I couldn’t say no to this little frame! I want to use it for our table and also for some really sweet, fun pictures holding it!
Fun story about these! When we started planning the wedding, after watching too many films, we were sure we could write our own vows. When we looked at the service information from the Registrar, however, we were not allowed to do much personal at all and I was gutted. However, when I saw these, I thought they were too cute to pass up and we could use them for speeches. But then! I found out that the booklet had been updated and we can now add loads of our own cute little bits in, including some vows so these are relevant again! Yay!
I also think they will be really sweet to keep after the wedding, fully of soppy words <3
I am also in love with all of the Touch of India branded products and I wanted to buy them all. However, I settled for this beautiful hanging tea-light holder because it will look gorgeous hung in the trees, both at the wedding and in the garden back home too. There were so many different colours and sizes that I will probably go back sometime soon and grab some more!
Squidge is also a fan! Haha, this picture was too cute not to share – he looks like he is licking his lips for it too!
I’m pretty impressed with this haul – all of it came to £22! There are very few places that you can get so many amazing little gems for so cheap and I could have spent hours (and a few hundred pounds!) in there!
A massive thank you to the MVPs from Publicasity & Homesense for sending me a voucher and setting me off to go wild around the store!
*As always, my opinions are not influenced by the fact that I was given a gift card 🙂
