The friendly beans over at HomeSense sent me a voucher a few weeks ago to spend in their store on wedding items. That’s like all of my favourite things!
I am a huge fan of HomeSense (as you can see here) because it’s like a crazy bazaar of quirky items and you never know what you’re going to find. It’s the perfect time to mooch around looking at stuff for our wedding because it is going to be held outdoors, and therefore, cute garden things are ideal!
We visited the store in Chester which was pretty huge, and we spent a good hour or so exploring the shelves for anything that we could use for the wedding – and boy we were not disappointed!
Our first find was probably my favourite! After seeing it on Pinterest, I’ve really wanted a cute little metal bath to fill with ice pops. I thought I’d found one on FreeCycle, however, when I sent Steven to pick it up, it turned out to be a proper, full-sized bath tub… Oops!
But this one is perfect! It is a beautiful duck egg blue, with cute detailing and lovely wooden handles. Even better, it was only £12.99!
Also above you can see these super cute scrabble style letters. I thought these would look great on our top table, and they’re perfectly rustic to work with our theme. They were £3.99 which is a complete bargain!
These napkins will be perfect for cake (and there is going to be lots of cake!), and for £2.99 and £3.99 respectively they are a great touch. They’re a lovely blush colour with gold foiling which I absolutely love!
As we’re getting married in a forest, we have got a load of things to hang from the trees to make it into a magical fairy wedding. I originally thought this was several strands, however I was so excited to unwrap it and see it’s one long piece. This will be ideal for decorating the Old Woodshed where we are making our actual vows! It’s got a gorgeous bohemian vibe that I am in love with and I’m actually regretting not getting more of them! For £3.99 I really should have!
As a bonus, I had to share this gorgeous picture of my little Squidge testing out the bath – he’s a fan!
So that was my HomeSense haul! I was going to wait until my wedding website was up but I was too excited to show you all my finds – I love HomeSense.
You can follow them on Twitter at @HomesenseUK or find your nearest store here.
