Seeing as we can’t exactly go window shopping right now, I’ve found myself doing a whole lot of online window shopping. I spend hours idly browsing through sites and adding stuff to my favourites from the comfort of my home. Etsy is one of my favourite places to do this, because you just don’t know what you’re going to find. From sweary teacups – which I actually bought a friend a few weeks ago for her 30th, to a jar full of pickled bums (this is a real thing and worth a look) there’s nowhere quite like Etsy.
Here’s a little list of some random bits I am currently lusting over.
Green polymer clay DIY kit
I LOVE the earrings from Good Morning Magpie, but the fact that this is a kit where you can have a little go at making them yourself makes me so excited. It comes with 8 polymer clay shapes, and different jump rings, earring hooks, and pliers so you can create your own pieces of choice!
Striped Linen Dress
Am I likely to spend over £100 on this dress? No. But do I look at it regularly and imagine how comfy it is? Literally all the time. It just looks so beautiful and soft, I can use the buttons for breastfeeding, it’s the most simply dress of dreams. One day it will be mine.
Big brother/little brother T-shirt and vest
I love the retro vibe of this print and y’all know I love matching. I think these are really special and the fact they don’t say “bro” on them makes me love them even more.
Space Muslin
My “theme” for Ruben was rainbows, cos he was our rainbow baby, and for this one I’m thinking a bit of a space vibe. So this muslin is perfect. As he’s a summer baby, I know I’ll probably just want to drape a muslin over him in the pram, rather than a full-on blanket, so I’m wanting to get some really cute ones, like this. They also make great photo props too.
Space name print
Keeping with the space print, I think this would be so lovely to have in his nursery (when he finally gets one!). Look at how happy the little planets are! V cute!
Space Harem Pants
One last space themed item, this time probably for Ruben (because he’d get more wear out of them AND THEN they’d be able to be passed down to his little brother too!). I love how beautiful the print is and harems are perfect for a big cloth nappy bum.
Family name doormat
We need a new door mat and even after (almost!) 4 years married I still get giddy that I’m part of the Wright Family, so this just seems like the perfect option.
So these are my current random faves. I also have a list ready for baby 2 for some bits I want to get him, and throughout the year whenever I see anything that Roo might like, I pop them in a list so that when it comes to Christmas or his Birthday, I already have some ideas.
I’d love to know what your favourite things are on your Etsy Wishlist right now?
