Get Sexy this Valentines’ Day with Hunkemöller*

I am about as sexy as a jacket potato. It’s okay, I know who I am. I’m funny, and I’m cute but I am absolutely not sexy. Thankfully I’m married and so I can be confident that Steven loves me regardless, but after everything that’s happened recently, I am trying to challenge myself to do more things that scare me.

So when Hunkemöller contacted me and asked if I wanted to try something from their lingerie range, I thought I would throw caution to the wind and give it a go. 

I figured at the very least it would be a bit of fun. They very kindly sent me this Doutzen All Over Lace Top in a medium which surprisingly fit my chunky little size 14 self. 

I love this design as it’s flattering without being too try-hard. The lace is beautiful and it covers all my lumps and bumps but also shows plenty of skin. It didn’t ride up at all, so it was easy to feel confident in it and it was far more comfortable than it has any right to be! 

Of course, I knew I wanted decent picture – a mirror selfie wasn’t going to cut it for this post, so I asked Steven to take some of me. It was actually a really fun way to spend an hour or so. I felt… well, sort of sexy! Haha. It helps that Steven is a professional photographer and therefore was able to take good pictures, but I really felt like it added a fun little spark. After all, Steven sees me day in and day out, with my comfy PJs on, and ink on my hands – I’m hardly Kate Moss on a daily basis haha! 

So I challenge you all, grab yourself something sexy from the Hunkemöller site, and ask your partner to take pictures of you – even if they are not a photographer, it could be a lot of fun trying!
