EuroTalk: My first ever giveaway!

I am going through a potential existential crisis, which you can read about on EuroTalk’s blog, that has led me to decide I need to try and learn a new language. Thankfully, in a world where there’s an app for everything, there is quite literally, an app for that – and man is it a beautifully designed and easy to use app! Featuring the basics of 120 languages (I for one cannot even name 120 languages!) for free, and the option to upgrade for more in-depth categories (animals, food & drink, time, body parts etc!) for a small fee, I am a huge fan!
I’ve decided, rather bravely, to give Japanese a go! Featuring a background of beautiful cherry blossom, there are 36 categories for me to choose from on the premium pack, including those that could be a lifesaver abroad, such as, ‘doctor’ and ’emergencies’. You can practice and then play a series of mini  games, both hard and easy to test your knowledge – there is even a speaking game using your phone’s microphone! I’ll let you know how I get on!

It is, without a doubt the most thorough and easy to use language learning tool I have ever seen and once I have mastered Japanese, I plan on exploring the basics of some other languages too! I really love the fact that it is not cluttered with advertisements or constant pop ups urging you to upgrade. Everything down to the animation of the menus is just beautiful, simple and ridiculously user-friendly.
