Bobble Bottle Review

A year ago, had you asked what I wanted to drink, I would have always wanted juice, fizzy drinks or wine (of course). Never, ever water. I hated the taste, it didn’t make my thirst feel quenched and I could never understand why anyone would drink H2O outside of the Sahara. Now, however, my bag full of half empty Coke bottles (why do they always go flat before you finish one?!) has been replaced by one single bottle, my Bobble! As my Bobble_Bottle_Reviewbank balance slowly depleted and my guilt increased, I began to realise it was time to grow up and start liking the wet stuff. Steven’s whole family drinks water with their dinner (sometimes wine…) and it was embarrassing having to ask for juice, so I decided to take the plunge, as it were. It was a slow process but I began to be able to tolerate water. Just. I came across the Bobble Bottle in a shop in Liverpool one evening, and I had been toying with the idea of getting one, as my friend Han was never seen without hers, it looked cool and meant she was constantly drinking water. I decided to throw caution to the wind and buy one, promising myself that if I had paid for it, I had no excuse but to drink it! The carbon filter really does make the water taste better and being able to customise the filter colour made me happier than it should. In fact, there is no feeling quite like using a nice new filter!
I’ve actually, stupidly, lost the bottle I bought the first time, but my lovely other half surprised me with a replacement and I am clinging on to it for dear life. No matter what other techniques I try, I just cannot beat this bottle! It’s better for the environment than buying plastic bottles every day, and good for my body because I know I need to drink around three a day to keep well hydrated. I bought the larger bottler because I knew having to refill it too often would put me off drinking it (the fountains are downstairs from my office and I am much lazier than I should be!) and I didn’t mind having to fit it in my bag, I always carry an exceptionally large one around anyway. It can be a little noisy to drink out of, there’s an intense sucking motion involved that my lovely colleagues tease me about endlessly, but it is totally worth it. If you’re not a fan of water, but want to be, I really strongly suggest you try a Bobble Bottle, I love mine!
